Dynamik Development began in 2016 , given the volatility in people , environment and economy , it set out to support people in developing , growing and adapting to the new world of volatility. The past no longer predicts the future. Statistics are showing us that since the pandemic, mental health has been declining. Whilst we transition in a digital world , more so , do people need to stand back and reflect on their own mental states. Humans are looking for connection – connecting with themselves firstly and connecting with others.
Our vision is to create reflective collaborative leaders that pave the way for future-fit generations in personal and professional lives.
The future is about building communities that are conscious , intentional and deliberate in creating a future world at home and at work. Therefore Dynamik works with leaders in both their professional and personal lives to reflect on their behaviours , thoughts and feelings.
Dynamik prides itself in continuous learning and adopts practices that are relevant and relatable to help people use the physical , spiritual , emotional and mental wellbeing in executing more that serve future generations.
OUR FOUNDER'S STORY
Debbie Tam stepped out of her career of 25 years having held some significant roles of financial manager , chief operating officer and non-executive director in listed entities. At the age of 33 she received executive coaching and saw the power of coaching . It had broadened her thinking and she attracted the COO and non-exec director positions at the time. She went on build her leadership skills and as a COO focussed on developing talent and worked at developing her skills as a coach.
She holds a Master of Science in Coaching and Behavioural Change and is International Coach Federation credentialled as a Professional Coach. She is a Head Learning Facilitator on an international programme : Neuroscience for Business and Leading the Future of Work. She coaches and consults in a wide arena spanning from banking, insurance , construction, education, manufacturing , State owned entities. Non-profit organisations. She works with clients globally and locally. She embeds her work with emotional intelligence, neuroscience and systems thinking.
She considers all people to be leaders in their own right. Leading self , leading families, communities and organisations. Therefore, building foundational skills to navigate themselves is critical in this volatile world. As a mom, wife , student and COO in a male dominated industry she quickly figured out how to juggle her responsibilities. Today she helps people realise their dreams, build resilience, find hope and confidence to make a difference first and foremost with themselves, then their close personal and professional relationships. We learn about ourselves through others. She is a lifelong learner and integrates that into bigger perspectives of the legacy she want to leave for future generations on this Earth.

EQ-EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
‘Emotions are data’
We use our emotions as data to navigate ourselves and impact and influence one another. Emotional intelligence is based on Daniel Goleman’s work of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Creating safe spaces to reflect on our emotions, thoughts and feelings are key to unleashing greatness.
NEUROSCIENCE

Neuroscience has developed due to technological innovation. Research has shown that through neuroplasticity we can change the way we think, feel and behave for the greater good of ourselves and others. We use tools that are embedded in neuroscience but importantly work with behaviours and impact that link to purpose.

Like a cell in the body, on its own, is limited in function, yet when many cells are together, they form and organ. Many organs form a body but works in an intricate system of neurochemistry, skeletal structure and circulatory system. The control centre is the brain. Therefore , any change impacts a system.
The systems that we operate in is all interconnected. The work and industry system, family system, community , country etc. Within each system lies complexity we work with people to figure their system out so they can feel a sense of hope and inspiration to make a difference. The polarity of their systems gives opportunity to see things through both lenses instead of being mutually exclusive.

Economic gender parity according to the WEF is reported as 267 years. Born into the history of cultures, communities and male dominated business world, its time for women to take their important role in leading themselves , organisations and families. What this means is that woman will have to make some changes for themselves by integrating both their masculine and feminine energy , add some additional skills to their toolbox and be brave and courageous steps to do things different. We hold the space for them to reflect on their journeys , take stock of their strengths and compliment it with what they still need. Women’s voices are critical in leaving this world in a better place in people , planet and organisations. For women to take their rightful role in this world they will have to reflect on the quality of thinking and their beliefs – the story they tell themselves . They get to write their story
All leaders grow through having the skill of coaching. Active listening and emotional intelligence are key to developing leaders especially in this shifting world. As an ICF PCC Coach , Debbie dedicates time to mentoring peers which helps her develop as a coach and helps coaches reflect on their practices. She also runs programmes that develops coaches in organisations.
Based on emotional intelligence principles : Know yourself , choose yourself give yourself ,we work on a reflective journey of ‘Know Yourself’ . Great leaders take time to reflect on their autonomic behaviour and begin their journey of self-reflection and self-developemnt. We create safe spaces for leaders to unlock their fullest potential.

In the volatile world , people need mentors and coaches to help them navigate the complexity. Leadership mentoring is based on practices grounded in neuroscience , systems thinking and emotional intelligence. The difference to coaching is that the process will include teaching of best practices and sharing of knowledge but will still integrate the power of coaching methodologies to help access the inner wisdom of participants. Mentoring and teaching is based on action based experiential learning. Practicing and integrating new ways and methods to approach leadership. The work of great neuroscience thought leaders informs the basis of leadership change.
